• As an ex finance director is particularly aware of the lack of pragmatic advice available to companies on how to produce business solutions to their pension problems;
• Has been a pension trustee for 28 years and so has considerable experience of managing actuarial valuations, investment reviews and all the other tasks involved in managing pension schemes in a business like manner;
• Has also been a Chair of Trustees for many years and so is very used to interpreting the often very technical advice from actuaries, investment consultants and solicitors to produce business solutions to pension problems.
